A Sydney panel beater is gearing himself up for a surge of work following yesterday’s damaging hail storm.

“We were planning to close for the break, but so far I’ve got 11 cars out back that need major work,” says Jason Wade.

To help out, the Bondi Junction panel beater has invested in an ounce of methamphetamine to share with one other colleague.

“We’ll be going hard,” he says. “There’s no way we could come close to getting through this work unassisted.”

The pair say they’ll be working for the next 5 days without sleep to repair a backlog of hail damaged vehicles.

“Once we get through it, we’ll crash for a few days and hopefully we’ll have recovered in time for Field Day.”
